Amsterdam Housedance Community X ADE Special
Every Friday the Amsterdam Housedance Community hosts its weekly classes and jam sessions at Solid Ground Movement (Tolhuistuin). During ADE the community Friday will be a special one. We will start the evening with the documentary ‘Come As You Are’. A film by Amy Secada about the Garage/Loft era of House music in NYC. After the film, Kim Tawjoeram and Gino Jagessar will teach a Housedance workshop, focusing on the social aspect of Housedance. After the class, you're invited to the dancefloor where DJ Revé will provide us with warm and uplifting tunes. Powered by Solid Ground Movement

In 2004 Solid Ground Movement was founded by Alida Dors and Bryan Druiventak. Alida and Bryan come from the hip-hop scene and have danced with the development of hip-hop since childhood.
After years of dancing in the hip-hop scene, they have specialized in the theatrical side of hip-hop dance and today they go through life as creators. As a result, they offer new talents the opportunity to shine on stage, discover their own strength and make them shareable with the community.
Alida and Bryan do not shy away from being innovative and groundbreaking in their approach. Because passion is a connecting theme, our hip-hop dance school is a reflection of our culturally diverse society.

Festival FAQ
Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.
A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.
For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.
Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.
Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
Please keep in mind: we love being your annual host, therefore, we would like to ask you to enjoy responsibly.
ADE is proud partner of the Celebrate Safe campaign.
