ADE Day Programme @ Het HEM

The ADE programme starts with a panel talk with Bogomir Doringer, Alyson Sillon and Vinca Petersen. They will talk about how dance & rave culture influences their work.

After the talk, we’re hosting a screening of the film ‘The Sun Has No Shadow’ by Rebecca Salvadori. In this film, Salvadori reflects on intimacy, community and liminality in contemporary London rave scenes.

Panelguest, artist and performer Alyson Sillon later presents her performance; Before/After “Kemetic Techno Ceremony”. Alyson Sillon shows how meditation, warm-up routines and techno dance merge together in an almost ritualistic manner. Her installation Before/After is currently on view at the Sweet Harmony exhibition in our basement (which you can visit during the ADE programme) w/ performers; Lisa Tabord, Joel Harder & Alyson Sillon and is accompanied by live DJ: Liane.

Next up is Arno’s Schuitemaker's well-known performance called ‘ If You Could See Me Now', which starts at 20h30.

To end the day in the right way, Vinyl distributor and webshop One Eye Witness will host a party in the Dynamic Range Music Bar in the basement of our building.

Access to the programme is free except for ‘If You Could See Mee Now’ which is ticketed. Buy your tickets here!

Travel note: due to public transport maintenance at Sloterdijk train station, there is a shuttle service set-up between Amsterdam CS and Het Hem. Buy your bus ticket here!

Festival FAQ

Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.

A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.

For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.

Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.

We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.

Please keep in mind: we love being your annual host, therefore, we would like to ask you to enjoy responsibly.

ADE is proud partner of the Celebrate Safe campaign.
