London-born, Amsterdam-based Lenxi is finally unleashing her new solo project. Her mixed background (UK dad and Chinese-Czech mum) resonates in the music she makes: an eclectic and exotic mix of sound brought together as if it were a collage. Her tracks are personal and vulnerable, but her live act is rough, characterized by heavy beats, samples, her childhood Casio, Britishness and acid. We are stoked to have Lenxi making her debut at Brighter Days!

Having been around the local DJ scene of Amsterdam for over ten years, Hellie has been working front and back office with passion and sensibility. Throughout those years she has always advocated for the representation of women in the industry, which has lead her to co-found the DJ agency Pique. Hellie digs most music from 1977-1982, although she’ll also delve into contemporary sounds as witnessed in her newly Echobox Radio residency called Voortouw.
Doka is the home base for immersive – sonic –experiences. The underground and intimate sound bar is the place where nightlife, music and other forms of culture blend together.
