What's Next? with Jelmer Rotteveel and Patricia Altisent

What’s Next: an interesting conversation between a young professional at the beginning of his / her career and a more seasoned professional in the same work field. On what were their first career steps, initial struggles, errors and first successes, the (rapid) change of the industry, what they’ve learned along the way, the biggest fuckups etc. and how to have a sustainable career. This session has a main focus on the agency side of the industry.

Jelmer is the founder of Run The Trap events and also has his own booking agency and artist management company. Next to this Jelmer is the founder of Simpleboek, an independent booking platform for the live music and entertainment industry. Jelmer has previously worked at Dim Mak Records, ID&T and Spinnin' Records.

Patricia Altisent is the Founder and CEO of Transmat Agency. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Transmat manages leading global artists such as Derrick May, MOLECULE and IVA. Patricia has a degree in Journalism and Social Communication from the University of Fribourg and is fluent in 6 languages. In the year 2000, she got started in the entertainment industry by founding one of the top event agencies in Switzerland. In 2011 she started working with Derrick May and specializing in the electronic music industry. Patricia has built on her wealth of practical experience, consulting industry leaders on strategic projects related to artist compensation, branding, communication and revenue drivers.

ADE's Conference program features multiple conference tracks and offers the ultimate business and inspiration platform in the field of electronic music, attracting music- and related industry professionals, start-ups, aspiring producers and musicians, students, VJs, visual artists and stage designers.

The main conference venue is the DeLaMar Theatre in Amsterdam. The other venues are within walking distance from the theatre. You can find all conference venues here. Please be aware that more venues will be added in the upcoming weeks.

All you have to do is to make sure you purchased a ticket for the conference. Both the ADE Pass and ADE Conference Pass will gain you access to the full conference program including all tracks and ADE by Day program. Not interested in the full conference?
