The influence of Latin American music – contemporary and traditional – continues to spread across the global worlds of dance and hip hop, but it's all too rare to see any real musical analysis of what “Latin” (or “Tropical”!) actually means. Well, we're ready to rectify that with this look into the creative processes of a few of the musicians operating in this wide open sphere – starting with the brilliant Bolivian-Belgian talent Bart Vanobbergen Pérez aka Susobrino. His music bubbles with the influences of his heritage, but also a massive immersion in the most internationalist of club music – and in this demonstration he'll be explaining and showing how all those influences manifest in the studio. If you're interested in understanding more about this vital strand in modern music, this is a must.
