In the Studio with Panda Lassow hosted by Interface Magazine

Dresden-raised, Dutch resident Panda Lassow is a great connector. Bringing the likes of Benji B, Floating Points and Free The Robots to the Netherlands, having her own music played by Laurel Halo on her DJ-Kicks compilation, and of course working with local players like the Clone crew, Afrobot, Dikkens, Khalil and co, she constantly reminds us of the fact that underground creativity is about exchange of ideas and people supporting one another. Her own productions reflect that connectivity too: joining dots between influences from musicians globally. And it's that that we'll be looking at in this session unpacking her creative processes: how does she incorporate sounds like gqom and kuduro into her own rhythms so seamlessly, and how does she maintain that unique crispness of sound she's renowned for?

Registration for this workshop is only possible with an ADE Sound Lab wristband.
