Carribean-Belgian electro starlet Adigéry will be presenting her music alongside Bolis Pupul, and together the two will be digging deep into spontaneous and intuitive production. Living and creating in the moment doesn't mean disconnecting from knowledge, culture and history, and no one knows this better than Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul. Their music – and the theme of their presentation and workshop at ADE Sound Lab – is “all about playing around, hitting a nerve until some feel-good hormones start bubbling up and following that vein of pure, sparkly gold wherever it may lead”. But it also reflects their understanding of their rich and diverse musical and cultural heritage. Both are from families from the island of Martinique, with Adigéry having Nigerian Yoruba lineage and Pupul descended from Chinese immigrants, all of which provides a rich melting pot of ingredients for their improvisations and explorations.
Registration for this workshop is only possible with an ADE Sound Lab wristband.
