DGTL: From Amsterdam to the Globe

DGTL is one of the great stories of expanding while maintaining creative integrity. Started, and still rooted, in Amsterdam, the festival brand has now reached Santiago, São Paulo, Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Madrid - but seven years on, its programming, and its audiovisual production values which made it stand out in the first place, remain as rock solid as they ever were, as evidenced by the incredible DGTL show at ADE with Richie Hawtin CLOSE, Modeselektor and SOPHIE. For this panel, we’ll be focusing on the experiences of working in Chile - looking at cultural and business practice differences, and the challenges of working across timezones. DGTL’s Chile promoter Kabir Engel (also director of Glovox and a man with 20 years of designing experiences under his belt) will be in conversation with Jasper Goossen, founder of Apenkooi events - another vital part of the Amsterdam festival landscape.
