ADE MusicTalks: Charlotte de Witte

Ten years ago, Charlotte de Witte was DJing electro under the pseudonym Raving George. In 2019, the Belgian is an international techno phenomenon, headlining festivals and clubs from Ibiza to Awakenings, DGTL to Drumcode, taking her club series KNTXT global and launching her label of the same name, as well as releasing on labels like Novamute, Suara and Sleaze Records.

In this ADE MusicTalk, hosted by Mixmag Editor Duncan Dick, Charlotte will tell the story of her love affair with electronic music, her inspirations both from her home country and abroad, how performing under her own name brought her a new freedom to play and create, the challenges of being one of the hardest-touring DJs on the planet, what she’s learned about running a label and finding and nurturing new artists, the importance (and the drawbacks) of maintaining an authentic voice on social media - and how her meteoric rise to DJ superstardom has changed her life forever.

Please bear in mind that ADE Sound Lab tickets receive priority access. In case there are still a few seats available ten minutes before the session, we will open the doors for ADE Card holders.
