The former headquarters of one of the Netherlands' oldest and most progressive newspapers, De Volkskrant, this multi-functional hotel and creative hub with rooms to groove boasts a bevy of events both enriching and entertaining. Whether it's spending your days crate digging for future classics, participating in a record label talk about building communities or dancing the night away at one of their all-night gatherings, Volkshotel is ready to give you the quintessential ADE experience.
Doka

Doka is the Volkshotel's intimate sound bar where nightlife, music, and other forms of culture come together.




O S C A R

This solo performance created by Arno Schuitmaker blurs the boundaries between dance, visual art, and club culture. O S C A R is an intimate portrait of how the spaces we are born into and the spaces we inhabit shape the multiple dimensions of our identity.



Steppin' Talks x Doka

With the evolving dynamics in the music industry, record labels now extend beyond music releases, encompassing roles as community hubs, hosts of club nights, and even platforms for political expression. This talk will delve into the intricacies of launching and sustaining such endeavours, with a focus on safeguarding, uplifting, and providing opportunities for local, and global artists from underrepresented backgrounds. A select group of Dutch record label founders will share their experiences and expertise, fostering a valuable exchange not only for fellow record labels but also for all creatives who participate and take part in the electronic music community.



United Identities

No ego, all equal: Carista brings her radio show and record label United Identities to Doka, showcasing a diversity of local and international talent. The stellar lineup includes Chima Isaaro, Suze Iljó,and Sadar Bahar.

In celebration of their Brighter Days compilation for Rush Hour, KAMMA & Masalohost an all-night gathering spreading their ethos of positivity and togetherness. The intimate colourful affair includes Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy and visuals by Klank en Kleur.

Once a journalists' canteen on the 7th floor, Canvas has two offerings over ADE weekend.

Klank en Kleur make use of Canvas' unique floor design and impressive city views for their debut on ADE Saturday. Loverfingers and Classical Love provide the disco and house beats for an immersive sonic and visual experience.

Dam Swindle celebrates ten years of Heist with label powerhouse Cinthie and US trio Black Rave Culture - Amal, James Bangura, and Native Sun - on ADE Sunday. Get ready for an eclectic evening of breakbeat bangers, groovy house and techno.
