Over three decades, he has helped shape the sound and culture of electronic music: he has topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll five times, earned a Grammy nomination, and built A State of Trance into a global institution, reaching 44 million listeners across 80 countries each week. He was also at the very first ADE, making his return to the festival a full-circle moment, while Armada Music, the independent label he co-founded, has grown into one of the world’s biggest dance music labels.

Dimitri & DJ ISIS
Two DJ's who have been at it for over 30 years, as well as being friends and collaborators over that time span, exchanging music at Kaap Amsterdam on ADE Friday.Dimitri has long been a pioneer in the Dutch music scene, starting at Club Richter in Amsterdam and then cementing himself at RoXY, where DJ ISIS began her career, going on to become one of the city’s most influential DJs and eventually being named in 2010 Nachtburgemeester van Amsterdam (Night Mayor of Amsterdam). Now, more than three decades after they first crossed paths, the two return to the booth together at ADE, two artists who helped build Amsterdam’s club culture, reunited for a night of music, memories and shared history.

Hailing from Grenoble, they have been making music together for nearly 3 decades, bringing the Electroclash magic into one of Amsterdam's most distinguished parties.

This year marks 30 years since Sasha and John Digweed’s seminal Northern Exposure, a record that helped define progressive house and the art of the long-form DJ journey. Three decades on, Sasha remains at the forefront of electronic music, continuing to shape extended, narrative-driven sets. This ADE Saturday, he returns to Het Sieraad for a six-hour back-to-back with Patrice Bäumel, a now-familiar ADE tradition that will undoubtedly sell out.
Speedy J presents STOOR Live
Speedy J has been releasing music since 1992, earning his name through his formidable DJ skills while helping shape the sound of techno from its earliest days. Since then, he has continually blurred the boundaries between genres, culminating in STOOR Live on ADE Saturday and Sunday, his immersive showcase of improvised electronic music. The format brings together producers including Donato Dozzy and Rødhåd for fully improvised hardware jams, with performers alternating throughout. Led by Speedy J and spatial designer Karl Klomp, the stage design, lighting and video are treated as integral parts of the music. Robotic cameras and video hardware transform an LED video into a shifting visual canvas, merging object, image and sound into an eight-hour symbiosis of unbridled electronics.
Todd Terry & Friends ADE Special 2026
Todd Terry needs little introduction. A defining force in house music for more than three decades, the New York-born producer has shaped the genre at home and abroad, both through his own productions and a catalogue of influential remixes, including his formative take on Everything But the Girl’s 'Missing' more than 30 years ago. After 12 sold-out editions, he returns to Het Sieraad on ADE Sunday for an extended set, closing out the festival in legendary fashion.
