Watt events invites two of their dearest friends and inspirators. There are artists who define a moment and there are artists who quietly shape an entire culture over decades. Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren belong firmly to the latter. For ADE Wednesday we bring them together for a rare and extended 6-hour back-to-back set, the way this music was always intended to be experienced.
Both of them, through their work on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden and their legacy with Global Underground, have shaped a deeper, more timeless interpretation of electronic music that continues to resonate with those who listen beyond the obvious. Their approach has never been about trends or quick impact, but about patience, detail and emotional depth, a way of playing that rewards those who stay, who listen and who understand that the real moments often live in the transitions rather than the peaks.
For us, this goes far beyond just another ADE booking. The very first Watt event was built around Hernan Cattaneo and his Sudbeat label, followed shortly after by an ADE party where he and Nick Warren already shared the decks. In many ways, their music helped shape the foundation of what Watt Events has become; a direction rooted in storytelling, long-form sets and a deeper connection to the dancefloor.
To have them return now, side by side, for a 6-hour set during ADE already completes our dream line up of the week (and its just night 1!)
Expect a night that unfolds gradually. No rush, no shortcuts with two artists who know exactly how to read a room, building something that evolves hour by hour, moving through warmth, tension, groove and emotion with a level of control that only comes from decades behind the decks. Westweelde (formerly known as Westerunie) is a raw, industrial nightclub situated on the Westergas grounds in Amsterdam Westerpark, a former gasworks that is now a thriving cultural hotspot.
In collaboration with promising & worldwide respected event promoters, the organisation hosts large-scale House, Techno, Hip-Hop & Eclectic events in their huge concrete halls since 2005.
In addition to its size (3 different rooms up to 2000 visitors), it also benefits from a relatively central location and its surroundings — a beautiful park with many cafés, bars, and restaurants.

Festival FAQ
ADE Festival tickets are sold individually by the festival event organizers, but you’ll also be able to purchase them through the ticket links on the event pages on our website here.
Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.
Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!
Yes, the ADE Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events.
Be aware though that there are over 1,200 events during ADE that you can enter with the Pro Pass wristband and that ADE cannot guarantee access. There is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for Pro Pass holders. This means for some of the more crowded events you have to arrive early. Once capacity is reached, we will go over in a full-for-now policy. The festival event organizer will decide when and if more people are allowed to go in.
The ADE Pro Pass is the perfect fit if you are planning on enjoying the combination of day and night events. If you want guaranteed access to a particular festival event, we advise you to get a single festival ticket instead.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
