Suzanne Ciani (US)
Suzanne Ciani is a five-time Grammy-nominated composer, electronic music pioneer, and neo-classical recording artist. With over 20 solo albums—including Seven Waves, The Velocity of Love, and the groundbreaking LIVE Quadraphonic—her innovative use of the Buchla synthesizer has made her a defining voice in electronic music. Her work spans film, games, and countless commercials.
Ciani was inducted into the first class of Keyboard Magazine’s Hall of Fame alongside Bob Moog and Don Buchla, and has received the Moog Innovation Award and A2IM’s Independent Icon Award. Recent honors include the 2024 EMEAPP Lifetime Achievement Award, 2023 Milley Award for Musical Arts, 2023 SEAMUS Award, 2022 Golden Ear Award, and the 2022–2023 Herb Alpert Visiting Professorship.
