Sophie Kemperman (NL)

Sophie Kemperman (33) is festival program manager at Down The Rabbit Hole. She shapes everything that makes a festival more than music alone, translating its strategy and positioning into a coherent program of concepts, side programming, experience projects and special festival moments. With a background in Cultural Anthropology, she is fascinated by social behavior, especially through music and nightlife. Passionate about music since her teenage years, she has been working in the event industry for many years, gaining experience as a programmer, creative director, producer, manager and booker. Before joining Down The Rabbit Hole, she was co-owner and head of program at Skatecafe (Amsterdam), where she curated club nights and built the structure and workflows to support the growth and vision of the club. Programming for her is more than just curating a lineup; it's about shaping a space where music, atmosphere, and audience come together, creating an environment where creativity thrives, boundaries blur, and communities can grow.
