Sjoerd started his career in the music industry in 1995. he was co-founder of production company The Good Guyz, and also one of the founders of club Air. He was also involved in the BVD (Belangen Vereniging Dance). Nowadays he is festival director of Amsterdam Open Air, Buiten Westen and Valhalla festival, amongst others. Besides being a festival organiser, Sjoerd is one of the Instigators of the Celebrate Safe campaign.
