Dr. Prime (CH)

Dr. Prime operates in the space where club music, edit culture and diasporic rhythm meet.

Amsterdam-based, he approaches DJing and production with a selector’s ear rather than a fixed lane — moving between scenes, tempos and references, then reorganising them into something coherent, physical and his own.

His sets are built around edits, remixes and unexpected connections, with a constant focus on diagnosis and response: reading the room, identifying what it needs and redirecting the music accordingly. That same instinct runs through his productions. Tracks are treated as raw material — cut, rebuilt and reshaped for new contexts and new dancefloors.

His music has travelled through spaces including Antidoto, Keep Hush, SSSOUND, Habibis House, Syber, Jugaad World, Let Him Cook, APRTMENT LIFE, Family Tree, HÖR and Boiler Room, with radio support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Reprezent, 1Live, Rinse FM, Mouv’, Fun Radio and FunX.
