Sezina Kelsey (NL)

Inspired by Whitney Houston, Sezina Kelsey knew from a young age: later in life, I only want to sing. You might know her from TV shows such as The Voice of Holland, The Voice Kids, or the Junior Songfestival, but Sezina Kelsey is no stranger to the online world either. With tens of thousands of followers spread across TikTok, YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, Sezina Kelsey is anything but unknown. Over the past few years, she has shared covers of Pink, for example, with her hit *What About Us*; this video has now been viewed over 3 million times. As for her own music, things remained quiet. Until now…

That Sezina can sing a wide repertoire is nothing new, but after singing covers for a long time, it is now time for her own sound. This is characterized as Dutch-language with influences from the international pop scene, or as she puts it herself: Dutch Dance. This resulted in her first release, ‘Vrij Zijn’, in which she addresses a sensitive subject in a cheerful, danceable track: accepting yourself and having the ability to be completely free. This release marks the start of her own musical career, of which everyone will hear much more.
