Ruthlss (GB)

Ruthlss is a classically trained electronic producer, composer, pianist, live performer and DJ.

Ruth took piano lessons from the age of 4, was composing her own music by the age of 8, then studied music production at college before discovering electronic music more deeply within the London rave scene. She then taught herself to DJ and landed a monthly residency at Omeara, followed by regular DJ bookings around London, mostly mixing techno, electro and 90s rave classics.

Quickly becoming in demand as a DJ, she was soon playing iconic venues such as Fabric, Corsica Studios and Village Underground.

She has now embarked on her solo live show venture - something she has been working towards for a number of years - which sees her combine her virtuosic classical piano skills with electronic and ambient music (synths and drum machines). She recently debuted the show at ADE to high praise from audiences and industry alike, followed by her second ever live show supporting Daniel Avery at The Barbican in London, which has been her dream concert hall to play since she was a child. There she ended her live electronic live set with an impressive 6 minute solo piano improvisation.

Her next live shows will be announced shortly, and thanks to these first two standout shows, she is now catapulted into both the electronic and neoclassical live spaces with something totally unique and captivating, that is already connecting with audiences on a deep emotional level.
