Rosan Kocken grew up in the northwest of the Netherlands and moved to Amsterdam to study Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. After her studies she worked as a lawyer for more than 10 years, most of which at her own criminal law firm in Haarlem.
She started her political career as a member of GroenLinks (the Dutch green party) at the regional parliament of Noord-Holland in 2015. Rosan Kocken believes that the world can be more sustainable, healthier and more inclusive. With her drive and ambition she works hard to make the world fairer and greener.
