Rooléh (NL)

Rooléh (real name: Ruud Koole, 1999) is one of Amsterdam’s most exciting emerging talents in the house music scene. Blending infectious grooves with a rich palette of sampled textures, Rooléh crafts a sound that fuses high-energy loophouse with the soulful grit of afro, funk, and disco. His music is both dancefloor-focused and musically nuanced built for clubs, but resonating far beyond.

Rooléh began producing in 2020 and quickly caught the attention of the Dutch electronic elite. In 2021, he was selected for Masters NL, an acclaimed talent program, where he was mentored by Dutch heavyweights like Franky Rizardo, Michel de Hey, and Anil Aras, a formative period that sharpened his artistic identity and industry network. Now becoming a fixture in the international circuit, Rooléh has released on respected underground imprints including No Art, Solid Grooves, Cécille Records, TSZR, Microhertz, Moxy Muzik, and Boogeyman. His tracks have been supported by top-tier DJs across the globe, with consistent plays in iconic clubs and festivals.

What sets Rooléh apart is his instinctive feel for rhythm and sample work, drawing from a broad spectrum of cultural references while keeping his productions punchy, timeless, and highly danceable. With a fast-growing fanbase, a clear sonic vision, and the support of industry tastemakers, Rooléh is on the cusp of a breakthrough.
