Rob StrobE (DE)

Born in Germany in 1978, Rob StrobE grew up with classical music, swing and jazz before early electronic pioneers like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Michael Jackson caught his ear. In the 1990s, legendary nights at Frankfurt’s iconic Omen club - fueled by sets from Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, G-Man and many others - permanently shaped his passion for techno culture.

Following Omen’s closure in 1998, Rob stepped behind the scenes at top venues like u60311, Tanzhaus West, and MTW, launching a career as a professional sound technician and light jockey. By 2002, he was producing his own music. Alongside his artistic work, he built a successful engineering business specializing in studio technology, room acoustics and custom signal flow design - eventually turning his own studio into a full showroom.

The Comeback & Audio Emissions
In 2021, after a seven-year release hiatus, StrobE made a powerful return with heavy-hitting releases on imprints like Lucidflow, Micro.fon, and Motech. This new era marked a pivotal evolution: swapping software-based production for a fully modular and hardware-driven workflow.

That same year, Rob launched his label, Audio Emissions, supported by his buddy and partner in crime, Bo Irion. Built on a close partnership with Andrea (The Tunegirl), the imprint quickly expanded into a full-service artist booking and management agency.
