Romeo Trinidad Jr. (ROAM) began working at OBEY Clothing in 2003, and started OBEY Records with Shepard Fairey. Through their mix tape program, they released box set projects with DJ Shadow, A-Trak, Gaslamp Killer, Public Enemy, and DJ Z-Trip. In 2008, ROAM and Free The Robots launched OBEY Radio, a weekly gathering of the minds in Santa Ana CA. Often named Low End Theory LA's lil' brother, OBEY Radio has booked talent across all genres such as - Crazy Legs, Pal Joey, Wally Callerio, The Beat Junkies, Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, and more. ROAM, then took the OBEY Radio concept global in cities such as Amsterdam, Moscow, Seoul, Manila, Paris, London, and Tokyo.
Seeing that there was a need for help in the Los Angeles music community, ROAM began working with the likes of the Gaslamp Killer, Thundercat, Kutmah, and Teebs to start ROAM INTERNATIONAL, a hub for artists to create, produce and sell merchandise to fans around the world.
