René started DJing at fifteen in his hometown of Sexbierum; the pandemic brought him back behind the decks, and it escalated from there. Streaming live as IT'S RENÉ, he logged 500+ hours on Twitch, becoming part of the Team Brisk and Birdcage Radio DJ collectives: the raid-train, birthday-marathon, back-to-back community that keeps live dance music running online every night of the week.

Offline he has played Amsterdam Dance Event stages, the GoTo Amsterdam conference closing party, office parties and underground living rooms. His signature is the build: a set that opens melodic and readable, climbs through party bangers into hard techno and, crowd willing, ends in full gabber and frenchcore chaos.
