Pedro Mercado (BE)

Pedro Mercado is a Belgian DJ, producer, radio host and label owner based in Ghent, known for a distinctive sound that moves seamlessly between Progressive House, Melodic Techno and Indie Dance.


With a career built around musical depth and careful curation, Pedro combines driving grooves, melodic storytelling and forward-thinking selections, regularly blending exclusive promos and unreleased material from his own studio and label network. His productions have achieved consistent Beatport Top 100 success and appeared on respected imprints including MUKKE, ICONYC, Café De Anatolia, Camel Riders, Parquet, Kling Klong and Tanzgemeinschaft, alongside collaborations with artists such as Rodriguez Jr., Rauschhaus, Zoo Brazil, Martin Eyerer, Wally Lopez, Aves Volare and Aaron Suiss.


Pedro is also the founder of Chrom Recordings, launched in 2017 and focused on Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno and Indie Dance. In 2025, the label celebrated its 100th release with #100, a 10-track collaborative album with longtime studio partner Karada. He also runs Planet Ibiza Music, dedicated to Organic and Afro House, and explores more bohemian, tribal and ethnic influences through AkPaLa, his side project with producer Na Té.


Behind the decks, Pedro has performed across Ibiza, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Switzerland, Malta, Mexico and beyond, including appearances at Pacha Ibiza, Bora Bora, Savannah, Es Vive, Tantra and Ibiza Global Radio/TV. He has shared line-ups with artists including Joris Voorn, Township Rebellion, Marc DePulse, Miss Melera, Matthias Tanzmann, Super Flu and Ida Engberg.


A long-standing voice in electronic music radio, Pedro currently hosts Nomadland on Frisky Radio as well as the Chrom Recordings Radio Show, continuing a journey driven by one principle: creating immersive musical stories that connect the dancefloor from the first track to the last.
