Paata (GE)

Paata founded Georgia’s first-ever LGBT organization, and worked with a range of organizations in the areas of harm reduction, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and STIs. He was involved in several regional and international networks and also served as a board member at ILGA Europe. Paata has led nationwide advocacy campaigns Hepatitis C treatment access and on drug policy reform (White Noise Movement). He currently works at the Eurasian Coalition on Male Health (ECOM) as Advocacy Coordinator and is in charge of increasing gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men and trans people's participation in national response to HIV/AIDS, as well as regional advocacy in Central, East Europe and Central Asia (CEECA) region. Paata is from Georgia, currently based in Tallinn, Estonia.
