Olaf Boswijk (NL)

Artist & Speaker (Valley of the Possible)

After helming innovative electronic spaces in Amsterdam such as Trouw and co-founding De School, he co-founded Valley of the Possible, an artist residency and centre for regenerative culture in the Chilean Andes, which he started in 2019 with Mirla Klijn. Valley of the Possible invites and challenges artists, scientists, thinkers, and makers to envision alternative perspectives on our relationship with the natural world. Through carefully curated programs, in collaboration with local universities, art institutions, and Indigenous communities, a diverse cohort of international participants gathered for research, reflection, and knowledge-sharing. The program aimed to constructively contribute to decolonial, regenerative, and ecological cultures amidst societal collapse. Valley of the Possible has now landed in the Netherlands, where it has developed the ERF (Eat Reconnect Farm) residency program in collaboration with Gagel Farm, bringing together artists, farmers and culinary professionals to work together in co-creating a regenerative food culture. Today, Boswijk’s coaching work draws on the breadth of his international, multi-disciplinary experiences–– to give people in creative industries a foundation to thrive, and become the best versions of themselves.
