Mucky (NL)

Reynard Bargmann (31), alias Mucky or Mucky Beats, is a music producer and composer from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the age of 18 he started a dutch grime collective, NoizBoiz, with XL and Don de Baron. He soon learned the ins and outs of the music business and how to promote yourself as an artist or group. After graduating on the Rotterdam Conservatory as music producer in 2012, he started collaborating with SEVDALIZA. They released their independent debut album “ISON” which claimed #1 spot on the iTunes Electronic chart in the US and a 7.7 rating on Pitchfork. His production style got noticed by the godfather of Grime: Wiley. Mucky produced the song Speaker Box released on his Godfather LP in 2017. In the end of 2018 he produced the “Boasty” that later got remixed by Idris Elba featuring Stefflon Don and Sean Paul. It hit certified gold status in the UK and is still in top 100 today in the UK and is for ever growing, with 50 million + Spotify plays. He is currently working on his solo project which will be a showcase of the styles he became custom to in his productions through out the years. It’s expected to be released in April 2020.
