Marcelo Demarco (UY)

Marcelo DeMarco is a Uruguayan Techno artist and founder of SURO Records, with a career spanning more than three decades.


Also known as Mark Demark, Marcelo has been developing his distinctive sound since the mid-1990s, blending hypnotic rhythms, cultural influences and a raw, groove-driven approach to Techno. His releases have appeared on respected labels including SCI+TEC, BCCO, SURO and SURAW Records.


His music has received support from artists such as Dubfire, Spartaque, Sam Paganini, Radio Slave, Sama Abdulhadi and Marco Effe, while his productions have been remixed by Alex Arnout, El Mundo & Satori and Cosmic Boys.


Behind the decks, Marcelo is known for immersive, extended sets that move fluidly between digital and vinyl, focusing on rhythm, tension and a deep connection with the dancefloor.


With a sound rooted in authenticity and musical depth, Marcelo DeMarco continues to build his presence across the international Techno scene.
