MaloMalo (NL)

MaloMalo’s Story, written by their dearest friend and amazing writer Mick Boskamp:

Sometimes there are moments when everything falls into place. For the DJ/producer duo MaloMalo from The Hague (NL), that moment came during the sun-drenched Hartstocht Festival in Elp, Drenthe. From the first to the last track that was played, it was a party. And not just any party, but a party where everyone bares their teeth and dances as if there was no tomorrow. At that illustrious festival, where the cream of the national and international dance scene performed, the MaloMalo sound was embraced, firmly embraced.

The story of MaloMalo is the story of a long search for a sound that would express the love of Arno and Zella, both for each other and for House music. A sound with guts, groove and ‘cojones’, a daring sound rich in contrasts. Raw and tasteful, full and minimal, a sound of then, now and tomorrow. A sound that can be played at any club, party or festival, but that still remains very unique. The MaloMalo sound.

Many sets, for a large part in the capital of Holland, followed:

Floorplay at Loods12, Kadinsky Invites at Kadinsky Café. Amsterdam Most Wanted, livestream radio shows AMW Melodic Fusion and the special editions: ADE AMW Marathon. Cafe Brandon, Psybolic at the Jungle, BRAK, Ibiza Stardust Radio, Vroeg Clubben, Get in Sync, Mengelmoes, Vlinders Festival, The Clinic and Love House. Many unique venues and parties for the real dance-connaisseurs.

As of 2026 MaloMalo has joined Melodic Fusion, as resident DJ’s at Amsterdam Most Wanted. Stay tuned for the Melodic Fusion, Wednesday evening edition, radio/ livestreams from 8-10 pm!
