Luke Million (AU)
Artist
The first introduction to Luke Million came via Australian label Future Classic who brought us his debut EP ‘Italo Journey / Octobussy’, which was a synthesizer odyssey paying homage to his influences. The EP received major props internationally and was soon followed up by the cult limited edition EP ‘Arnold / Sunsplash’. Arnold celebrated the great man we used to know and love and quickly found its way into club punters hearts with signature ‘down, up’ dance moves spreading like a cosmic blaze doused in rum. Arnold continues to have a fanatical following with more than 2 million views across YouTube.
In 2013 Luke teamed up with legendary New York label “Nervous Records” and realeased his Midnight/Galaxy EP on their Nu Disco arm “Nurvous”. Midnight is a spacey tale of an unrequited love while Galaxy boasts a pumping bass line that will sweep us all up into an uncontrollable frenzy post breakdown. Midnight received plenty of love, heavily frequenting the radio waves of triple J throughout a star kissed summer.
Fast forward to present day, Luke’s latest offering is the dark masterpiece “Fear The Night” featuring Jesse Davidson. It encapsulates the dark space when the mind can often wander in a dysfunctional relationship, the perfect fusion of both musical minds.
Luke Million’s signature synth-laden, cosmic disco style also appears in all its glory through remixes for musical amigos Olympic Ayres, Moullinex, Young Franco, Midnight Pool Party, Tkay Maidza, Peta & The Wolves, Scarlett Fantastic, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, Voltaire Twins, Porsches and his other band The Swiss.
