Since the early 90s, when an old theater in a suburb of her home town Johannesburg was transformed into a nightclub, Lakuti had her fingers in a series of electronic projects - all of considerable quality. Legendary underground parties in Süd, close collaborations with Portable / Bodycode, two successful record labels, a booking office, vocal aid for a list of artists and club nights in Panoramabar. She has become one of the DJs who can even get the most cynical dancer of his bar stool. Lakutis selection is exceptional, and the experience of all elements of the scene makes her one of the most respected.
