Kyri’s djing style draws on twenty years experience and reflects a wide spectrum of soulful music from funk, boogie, disco, jazz through to deep tech via afro-latin house. Kyri has been running R2 Records since 1999 and in that time released music from some of the greatest names in dance music, including Louie Vega, (Masters At Work), Osunlade, (Yoruba Records), Karizma,, (Kohesive/Baltimore) & Ron Trent. R2 is also championing new talents like Floating Points, Kissey Asplund and Mahon. Like his label, Kyri’s djing style draws on twenty years experience and reflects a wide spectrum of soulful music from funk, boogie, disco, jazz through to deep tech via afro-latin house. He has played at such diverse parties as Masters @ Work 10th Anniversary celebration in Ibiza, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson’s legendary “Loft” in the 90s and Westwood’s Carnival Dance, embodying his belief in the relationship between all soulful music. Most recently, Kyri started "Nu Position" a tribute night to Prince and the Minneapolis Funk sound, with guest DJs including Osunlade, Theo Parrish & Karizma. Look out for new R2 nights coming soon.
