Kate G (UA)

Kate G is a Romania-based Ukrainian vinyl techno DJ, event curator, and co-founder of Lab of Groove.
Growing up with a classical music background, she developed an early fascination with structure, emotion, and musical storytelling. Since beginning her DJ journey in Kyiv in 2010, she has remained dedicated to underground electronic music, gradually shaping a distinctive sound rooted in vinyl culture.
Her sets combine hypnotic techno, raw groove, hardgroove and trippy textures into long-form musical journeys. Rather than chasing constant peaks, Kate G builds tension patiently, creating immersive dancefloor experiences where every record has space to breathe and every transition serves the story.
She performs primarily on vinyl and believes the physicality of the format adds depth, warmth, and authenticity to the connection between artist and audience.

Throughout her career, Kate G has performed at clubs, festivals and underground events across Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Romania, including SVORA, Tsekh33, Interface, Factory Yard, Drevjeno, Bike Jesus (Lab of Groove), Ufo Bufo Festival, Alinea Porto, Rewind Bucharest, Square Brașov, Misterika Festival, Bookworm Festival and many independent underground events.
Alongside performing, she curates events and helps build international connections within the underground techno scene. She is the founder of Pure Pure and co-founder of Lab of Groove, a Prague-based community focused on vinyl culture, international collaboration and supporting emerging artists.

Kate G is currently available for bookings across Europe.
