Meet Karim Mrabti, Rotterdam born and Barcelona based founder of Atlas Electronic. At 27 years old this man, rooted in Morocco, is both the festival director and head of the program of a one-of-a-kind event. Atlas Electronic Festival is a four-day celebration embracing music, arts, and local culture and takes place in Marrakech each summer. Besides from the festival Atlas Electronic serves as a platform for local talent sparking connection and exchange. Western artists and visitors are given the opportunity to be inspired by African and (Middle-)Eastern music and art and get the chance to partake in different cultures. What's more, through the manifestation of rare, exclusive and renewing cross-over acts and projects, Karim Mrabti aims to provoke, stimulate and inspire a cooperative network of like-minded people.
