With a natural talent for mixing beats and reading the energy of a crowd, Funky Creature quickly became the go-to DJ for parties and events. This led to the launch of his legendary Drive-In Show, where he and his friends delivered electrifying performances, turning nights into unforgettable experiences. From Club DJ to Event DJ.
After six spectacular years of bringing the party to life, Funky Creature took his craft to the next level, becoming a resident DJ at a bar/dancing venue in Hoek Van Holland.
His sets, infused with the perfect blend of Funk, Soul, and Disco, had crowds moving all night long. His reputation grew, and soon, booking agencies and event planners sought him out for his signature sound.
The Funky Comeback!
After a break, Funky Creature was reignited in 2017 by his old and new DJ friends.
With fresh inspiration and a renewed passion, he returned to the decks, spinning vinyl and creating new musical journeys. An All-Round DJ with Soul.Today, Funky Creature is a trusted name for a perfect night in clubs, bars, and events. With an unparalleled instinct, he knows exactly which records to play to get the crowd moving. 🎶 Fun facts about Funky Creature:
• The first vinyl he ever bought? A 7″ single of Sheila & the Black Devotion with “Singing in the Rain”. His second purchase was an instant classic: a 12″ single of Spargo with “You & Me”.
• His inspirations? The funky vibes of the seventies and eighties, the energetic beats of the big discos along the Spanish coast, the legendary MaxMix compilations, and the Dutch DJ Ron Christoffel, famous for his sets in beach clubs and Confetti’s.
• When he's not behind the decks, you’ll often find him behind a drum kit or occasionally grooving on bass guitar, exploring new rhythms and grooves.
