Feijoa (NL)

FEIJOA is all about sharing and exploring house music and techno. He bought his first 12" back in 1992 and was hooked. His love for electronic music has kept growing ever since. It started with the sounds he picked up at Amsterdam venues like Mazzo, Trance Buddha and Melkweg (HQ) and at festivals such as Dance Valley and Awakenings, and moved toward a more refined, classic deep house sound and the slower grooves of house and (dub)techno productions from New York, Detroit and Chicago, as well as the UK, Germany, France, Belgium and Italy. He spent 18 years working in Concerto's second-hand vinyl department, so you can imagine his love for vinyl has got slightly out of control over the years.
A vinyl-only DJ, FEIJOA is passionate about kicks, hi-hats, chords and bass, and a big believer in flow, whether rhythmic or atmospheric. He loves rocking big sound systems as much as creating an atmosphere that suits an intimate setting, a living room or just a pair of earbuds, mixing tunes and sharing the beautiful history and rich diversity of electronic music in every set.

These days FEIJOA plays the odd set in Amsterdam venues and beyond, and he is determined to keep doing so for years to come.
