Eva Xu’s love for Electronic Music spans decade. Starting in the industry as a dancer, she was travelling all around China, where she first experienced electronic music. Finding her passion in this kind of sound and being inspired by the likes of Groove a Mother, Fatboy Slim, Deep Dish, and the vibrant underground music scene of Beijing Eva decided to pursue a career as a DJ.
Her sets infuse together all the pieces of electronic music that she loves best: dark progressive baselines, uplifting melodic synths, occasional vocal hooks and House or Techno kick drums.
Swiftly Eva was described as Beijing’s newest rising star. Now she’s a regular fixture of Beijing’s nightlife, playing in most of the underground Clubs around the city like Lantern, Aurora, InfraRouge, Migas, RecRoom and festivals like INTRO, Wonderland, Great Wall Run, YinYang. This led her to expand quality sounds throughout other cities in China such as Shanghai, Xian, YiWu and Chengdu.
For a few years Eva Xu was involved in the “Back2Basics” project as a team member and resident artist, a party label created by Toxic Entertainment aiming to promote local talent and bring quality international artists to Beijing and all around China.
During this time she had opportunity to share the booth with well known artists such as: Truncate, Rob Hes, Mikael Jonasson, Locked Groove, John Acquaviva, Alex Justino, Skober, Sriv Hey, Yan Cook, D-Unity, Tijana T, The YellowHeads, Ben Klock and Fritz Kalkbrenner to name a few.
Now she’s also devoting her time to produce music and aiming to release music in the time being
