Esther Majster (FR)

Esther works at Because Publishing, one of France’s leading independent music publishers, representing French and international artists such as Daft Punk, Manu Chao, Les Rita Mitsouko, Christine and the Queens, Fally Ipupa, Calypso Rose and Urtax, among many others.

Having been with the company for almost five years, she manages international relationships with sub-publishers, develops the repertoire of the songwriters and composers represented in the catalogue, and scouts emerging talent and the sounds of tomorrow.

She also organises songwriting camps and collaborates with artists from a wide range of musical backgrounds, from Caribbean music and rap to alternative pop and electronic music in all its forms.

Passionate about music since childhood, Esther started producing electronic music in high school before moving into event production and eventually finding her way into the music industry. Her journey has allowed her to combine her creative background with her experience in developing international collaborations, supporting songwriters and discovering the artists who will shape the future of music.
