Emmy Lovell (GB)

Emmy Lovell, Global Head of Music at SoundCloud, has established herself as a progressive and strategic executive in the entertainment industry. In her current role, Lovell ideated and oversees an 'artist development' team whose main objective is to identify and help develop emerging artists on-platform through accelerator programs like First on SoundCloud and Ascending. By implementing and transforming a plethora of artist-driven campaigns and initiatives, Lovell cultivates SoundCloud's on-platform community while making huge strides in the development of budding stars. Additionally, Lovell oversees partner and label relations, music content & catalog operations, creative, and marketing for SoundCloud. In her previous roles, Lovell spearheaded WEA’s (Warner Music Group) European & marketing, artist services, and content creation initiatives as well as successfully leading the Napster app relaunch as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Having spent years working with some of the biggest artists in the world at frontline labels with EMI and Warner Music Group, Lovell operates with an artist-first approach, consistently demonstrating her commitment to challenging traditional norms of the music industry and fostering connections between artists in all stages of their careers.
