Emma Chambers, the Director at SO DARK ITS LIGHT PR, completed high school and A-Levels in rural Buckinghamshire, England, to then later drop out of University ahead of a law degree, and head straight into the world of work. Basic assistant positions were the starting point, in what would later amount to an 8-year career as an Executive Personal Assistant to a selection of business entrepreneurs in Moscow and Paris to finally settle in London. During this time in the UK, a passion for clubbing and appreciation for electronic music lead her to the club known only as Fabric, which then spiraled into more weekend trips to clubs including The Key, The End, Turnmills, Cable, and eventually to Barcelona for her first Sonar experience. It was here, in 2013, that she met with friends in the music industry, and realized the potential in the world of electronic PR, and the importance of personal relationships and transparency with clients. Since that trip, those same ethics accompanied by a drive to be her own boss, fueled the start of SO DARK ITS LIGHT. During the last 4 years, since its inception, constant hard work and determination have seen SO DARK ITS LIGHT not only get on the map, but solidify its presence among some top leaders in the industry. The company is still single handedly run by Emma, and has seen exponential growth, with both up and coming as well as established clients. Looking after artists including Christian Smith, Secret Cinema, Pig&Dan, Enrico Sangiuliano, WEHBBA and UNER to name a few, she still maintains her ethos of staying small and having a personal touch for each and every client.
