Eli Fola (US)

Artist

Eli Fola is a Nigerian American multidisciplinary sound artist, saxophonist, DJ, producer, and
creator of the acclaimed live hybrid performance style Yoruba Tech Soul. Rooted in the belief that sound can be a catalyst for healing, reflection, and transformation, his work explores the intersection of electronic music, ancestral wisdom, and emotional well being.

Following a life changing breathing surgery in 2026 that profoundly reshaped his relationship with health, presence, and purpose, Eli's artistic practice evolved toward creating immersive sonic experiences that help listeners process emotion, navigate life's transitions, and reconnect with themselves. The experience became a pivotal turning point in his creative journey, deepening his understanding of healing not only as a physical process, but as an emotional, spiritual, and communal one. Through a blend of house music, techno, ambient soundscapes, jazz improvisation, classical influences, live saxophone, and Yoruba rhythmic traditions, he crafts performances that move fluidly between the dance floor and meditation ritual.

Eli has released music on influential labels including He.She.They Records, Armada Music, Rise Berlin, Mobilee Records, Global Underground and his own imprints Tech Afrique and Hybridity Art. His growing catalog spans house music, melodic techno, experimental electronica, ambient compositions, and cinematic sound design.

A dynamic touring artist, Eli has performed in more than 35 countries, bringing his hybrid performances to renowned festivals, cultural institutions, and global stages including Voodoo Village Festival, Sunburn Festival Goa, SXM Festival, Elements Festival, EDC Las Vegas, EDC Sea, Burning Man, and multiple Insomniac events. Whether performing in clubs, festivals, museums, or immersive art spaces, his work invites audiences into moments of connection, introspection, and collective healing.

His work has received support from cultural leaders including Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, and he has shared stages with artists such as Disclosure, Black Coffee, Blondish, and A$AP Rocky. Beyond performance, Eli has composed music for Vogue Italia and Free The Work, while collaborating with brands and institutions including Soho House, Chanel, Bacardi, Target, Art Basel, Brooklyn Museum, and National Sawdust.

In 2016, Eli founded Tech Afrique, a creative label and cultural platform dedicated to advancing Afrofuturism and amplifying underrepresented voices across music, art, and technology. He is also the founder of Hybridity Art, an experimental platform exploring the healing potential of sound through immersive listening experiences, installations, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
