Doreen Van Steen (BE)

A liberated mother of three, Doreen Van Steen is very much in control of her life and her love for music. Inspired by music, producers and DJ’s who move her she has set out to become a woman in the electronic music scene who leads by example, finally shattering the glass ceiling once and for all and instigate true equality on and off the dance floor. As a means to an end she founded Loud Ladies, a collective that aims to represent, empower and unite female DJ’s across the board.

As a DJ Doreen has already made her mark on the scene, taking in regular gigs in Ghent’s infamous Charlatan club, a prime spot on the Brussels Pride parade in 2026 and the Brussels music institute that is Kiosk Radio. Never one to be limited to a specific sound Doreen prefers to take you on a musical trip that can visit house, melodic techno, progressive vibes and bona fide dance music classics.

In the second half of 2026 she will be launching the Loud Ladies label with a various artists E.P. that will also feature her very first own production. A full artist E.P. is also in the works to showcase her versatility and musical evolution.
