Dave Coenen (NL)

From making podcasts about the clubbing landscape, to booking artists in the bass-heavy and soulful realms, to making it their mission to dive deeper than just the sound and dig for stories, context, history and the humans behind the sonics, Dave Coenen has been involved with night life and music for more than a decade in an array of roles. Key experiences include gigs at Lowlands, De School, Tillatec, WAS., contributions to the award-winning podcast Als Muren Konden Praten, organising their own queer event Maquillage in Amsterdam and Utrecht, and their EKKO Hoorcollege talk show series in which night life is contextualized for everyone interested.
