Darnell Yzer (NL)

Darnell Yzer’s passion for music started with a fascination for sampling and the creative process of discovering how existing sounds could be transformed into something entirely new. This curiosity eventually led him deeper into the music industry, where he began as a label intern at record company One Million, founded by producer GIDEONITE. Being surrounded by producers, artists and other creatives gave him the opportunity to learn how music comes together from different perspectives, while building a strong and diverse network along the way.

Combining hands-on industry experience with a strong A&R instinct and an eye for emerging trends, Darnell is now Senior Creative at Next Era Publishing, where he is responsible for creatively guiding writers across the roster and developing new opportunities for their careers. His work spans a broad range of genres and includes established names such as Laidback Luke, Young Ellens, Caza, Amy Miyú, Hekje31 and Architrackz, while continuously identifying and developing emerging talent.

Darnell is passionate about discovering and guiding artists, writers, and producers early in their creative journey, connecting them with the right people and opportunities to help take their creativity to the next level.
