Chiara Belolo (FR)

Chiara Belolo, 29, is the General Manager at Scorpio Music. Scorpio Music is an independent and fully family owned record company based in Paris founded in 1976 by Henri Belolo.

Chiara has a special focus on global marketing strategies and artist management and growth strategies. She is, along with Anthony Belolo, behind for the success of Willy William, who is known for his global hit ‘Mi Gente’ together with J Balvin later joined as well by Beyoncé.

Fresh out of Law School, her first step in the music industry was made as the lead in Business Affairs at Sirup Music, a Zurich based Entertainment and Publishing company owned by entrepreneur and DJ EDX. There she has worked along acts such as Avicii, Calvin Harris, Morten, Nora En Pure and many more. Chiara is the executive producer of the MTV VMA winning videoclip “Mi Gente”, filmed and directed by 36 Grados. “Mi Gente”, released on independent Scorpio Music, topped the charts in over 160 countries in a record time in 2017, and was the longest #1 most shazammed song in the world for 16 consecutive weeks. While making her mark on the global music industry Chiara is a fulltime mom of two.

Besides her responsibilities at Scorpio Music and being a mom, she has become a sought-after advisor on marketing strategies for the European Market. Chiara also owns and runs a Switzerland publishing company representing a wide variety of techno composers and writers.
