CAELESTIS (NL)

Caelestis has spent countless nights in the front row of techno events, losing herself in the music — until the pandemic pushed her to the other side of the decks. On the very day the first Dutch lockdown began in April 2020, she bought her first DJ controller and soon after played her debut set, under the name DJ Covid, at one of the outdoor raves she organized. Since then, she has evolved both her sound and her identity as an artist.

Her sets are driven by dark acid lines, hypnotic elements and energetic peak-time techno, creating intense journeys designed to keep the dance floor moving. She has performed at venues including Toekomstmuziek, Oosterbar, Club Up, Disco Dolly, Club ROOTS, De Fik Garden and OT301, as well as on Amsterdam’s Most Wanted radio and at numerous outdoor raves.

A resident DJ and Director of the SevenEight Foundation, Caelestis plays an active role in both the music and the community behind the collective. Through SevenEight, she has performed after renowned artists including Secret Cinema, Nakadia, and Carmen Lisa & Sole Dosi, bringing her sound to the collective's events while helping shape its growth and direction.

Caelestis is also a co-founder of Sonant, a techno collective organizing open-air raves in Amsterdam since 2015. Through both collectives, she has become an active part of Amsterdam's underground scene, combining her passion for music with a commitment to bringing people together.
