Bradley Orford-Hall (GB)

Bradley Orford-Hall is the founder and CEO of xRave Ventures - a research, strategy and investment company focused exclusively on the music and creator economy.

xRave Ventures was founded because Brad saw a gap between the massively expanding creator / music economy, available market data and investment capital. He believes that a new type of company can exist to help the market better understand and invest in the creator economy, and connect disruptive companies in the sector with the right investment capital.

Brad spent almost 6 years at Spotify between Stockholm and Los Angeles where he was responsible for leading the company’s global market intelligence function and advising Spotify’s C-suite on the platform’s competitive positioning, industry outlook and emerging media formats. His team’s proprietary research helped the platform double in size (revenue and subscribers) during 2018 - 21 and he was consistently recognized as a top performer globally.

In addition to this, Brad spent significant time advising Spotify’s global music & editorial teams on their strategy during a shift to algorithmic consumption, leading Spotify product tests relating to user-generated content and licensing initiatives related to AI-music. He subsequently joined Believe as Director of International, TuneCore where he helped the indie distributor develop its international growth strategy under the Private Equity firm EQT.

His career spans London, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Paris and New York. Prior to Spotify he worked for the global management consulting firm Bain & Company, as well as the Private Equity firm Cinven and Investment Bank J.P. Morgan.

He’s a classically trained pianist, Berghain raver and crate digger. Erykah Badu is repeatedly at the top of his Spotify Wrapped. All of the above experience is leveraged in his work building xRave Ventures.
