Alejandra Gómez (CO)

Alejandra Gómez Quintero is a Colombian cultural strategist, music executive and social innovator working at the intersection of independent music, nightlife, community building and cultural infrastructure.

She is the founder and director of Biche, a cultural ecosystem based in Cali, Colombia, that brings together an artist management agency, an independent cultural foundation and Casa Biche, a multidisciplinary cultural hub designed to support artists, creative workers and grassroots initiatives through shared infrastructure, collaboration and long-term capacity building.

For over 15 years, Alejandra has developed international careers for independent Latin American artists while building partnerships across the cultural, public and private sectors. Her work explores how music and nightlife can become platforms for social innovation, local development and stronger creative communities rather than simply spaces for entertainment.

She is the co-founder of Monte Olimpa, an award-winning initiative that creates safer, more inclusive pathways into DJ culture and nightlife for women and gender-diverse people. The project received the Music Cities Award for Best Night-Time Economy Initiative and is supported by Jägermeister's Save The Night programme, where Alejandra also serves on the global Advisory Board.

Alongside her professional practice, Alejandra is completing a Master's degree in Social Innovation Management at Universidad Icesi. Her research focuses on how independent cultural infrastructure can expand opportunities for artists and strengthen local creative ecosystems.

As a speaker and mentor, she has participated in international platforms including WOMEX, Mundial Montréal, the Buenos Aires International Music Market (BAM), Global Toronto and the Bogotá Music Market (BOmm). Across all her work, she advocates for cultural ecosystems where collaboration, care and independent infrastructure create the conditions for creativity to thrive.
