Badderman (NL)

Badderman, born Mark Abente, first became widely known alongside the legendary Koyeba, but has spent years building his own repertoire, sound and live presence. With strong musical roots in Suriname’s interior, he has grown into an artist increasingly mentioned among the leading names in Surinamese music today. His major solo concert at Melkweg marked animportant step in that journey. On September 23, he shares the stage with Young Boss and his former mentor Koyeba; one day later, at ADE, he shares his personal journey and perspective on the present and future of Surinamese music.
