Amsterdam-based progressive house project Around Us has steadily established itself as one of the Netherlands' leading names within the international progressive house scene.

Their productions receive continuous support from genre pioneers Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Sasha, while releases on labels including The Soundgarden, Manual Music, Mango Alley, Magnitude Recordings and Click Records have earned them worldwide recognition.

Behind the project, Jan is the producer and creative force behind Around Us, shaping its sound while overseeing the project's creative vision and organisation. Together with Gaby, he represents Around Us behind the decks, where their shared passion for progressive house comes together in carefully crafted DJ performances.

Beyond the music, Jan and Gaby are part of Kadinsky Sessions, Amsterdam's monthly progressive house event. Held every last Saturday of the month, it has grown into one of the city's leading gatherings for the international progressive house community, combining established artists with the next generation of talent.

During Amsterdam Dance Event, Kadinsky Sessions expands into a week-long programme featuring label showcases and collaborative events. The 2025 edition welcomed more than 90 DJs, including internationally respected artists such as Alex O'Rion, making it one of the scene's key meeting points during ADE.

Whether in the studio, behind the decks or through Kadinsky Sessions, Around Us continues to contribute to the progressive house community through quality music, meaningful collaborations and a genuine passion for the culture surrounding it.
